India U15 gearing up for the Dallas Cup 2011

The India U15 national team is gearing up for the Dallas Cup 2011. The Indian colts will kick-off their campaign against Santa Clara Sporting in a Group G encounter on Tuesday.

The Indian juniors are on a high after winning the IMG U-15 Boys Invitational Championship recently and they are looking forward to take on several competitive teams.
The Dallas Cup is an international football tournament for invited youth teams, held annually in Dallas, Texas (USA).

The 32nd edition of the prestigious Dallas Cup will witness teams from around the globe. Eintracht Frankfurt (Germany), Tigres (Mexico) and RVO Groningen/Cambuur (Netherlands) are only a few of the teams competing in the same U15 age group like our India U15 team.

The U18 age group looks even more impressive with the U18 sides of Arsenal FC (England), FC Barcelona (Spain), Vancouver Whitecaps (Canada) and the Japan U18 national team taking part in the competition.

The list of famous Dallas Cup participants includes the likes of David Beckham (England), Raúl González Blanco (Spain), Rafael Márquez (Mexico), Maicon (Brazil) and Wayne Rooney (England) amongst many other international stars of the beautiful game.

Group G - Fixtures:
April 19: India U15 vs Santa Clara Sporting (Kick off at 12 am)
April 20: India U15 vs TSF Academy (Kick off at 8 pm)
April 21: India U15 vs Sockers U-15 (Kick off at 12 am)
